Fez Whatley, former co-host of the "Ron and Fez Show", has died of heart failure.  He had a long history of heart issues.  While I never really got into their show, Ron & Fez's cross-over appearances on O&A were always a joy to listen to.

Not enough news on Jo Whiley in a whiley. Yes, the crap you pick up when researching potential dead pop stars.

Reported earlier in this thread about having her phone swiped, she's also fallen ill for a couple of weeks for open water swimming (because British rivers are renowned for their clarity and purity) and also moaned about going through the menopause while her radio show was being criticised. All within a year.

Death by selfie for 2022? You decide.

Frank Beckmann, the play-by-play voice of (Univ of) Michigan football for 33 years who also had long stints calling games for the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers, has died at age 72 in hospice care

Beckmann suffered from vascular dementia and had several strokes recently.

While at WJR, he pioneered one of the first sports talk radio shows in Detroit when he created “Sportswrap” in 1981, the same year that he replaced the legendary broadcaster Bob Ufer to become the voice of Michigan football.

Dame Jenni Murray using the Seat of Doom* on Pointless Celebrities tonight. Just thought it worth noting (although she's had health issues, I'm not aware of anything specific currently in the public domain?)

*This may not really be a thing...

Connie Goldman, a former host of the NPR radio show 'All Things Considered' who eventually left radio to become an author, died March 8th. She was 91. Her death was reported March 30th.

I listen to NPR and I’ve never heard of her, which tells me NPRs been around an eternity, which is a very long time (she was 91 after all)
