Michael JacksonWe've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

 

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

My old place of work (a certain news gathering/wires company) is reporting he's in a coma, and I'm inclined to believe them.

 

Either way, it looks like he really is, actually ill this time.

 

Are we heading for the biggest internet meltdown since 9/11 I wonder?

I wasn't old enough to remember Elvis croaking, but is pretty much next in line.

 

There will be a hell of a lot of upset people...
