charon 4,943 Posted October 5, 2015 Fine. Though Lewindoski has at least 12 goals in last 3 games (one as sub) for Bayern. That, does not bode well..... Back on track however ...
themaninblack 2,112 Posted October 5, 2015 Fine. Though Lewindoski has at least 12 goals in last 3 games (one as sub) for Bayern. That, does not bode well..... Back on track however ... I think the Scots still have a chance. The Irish have a couple of toughies (Germany home/ Poland away) whereas Scotland have Poland at home and then Gibraltar. I don't whether in a tied situation it is decided on head-to-heads or goals scored, if it's the latter then Scotland will need to destroy Gibraltar to qualify and get a point off the Poles and for Ireland to lose twice. Could get very close. Even then there's a playoff...
themaninblack 2,112 Posted October 5, 2015 Head to head . Scotland's win at Parkhead could be crucial then...

Death Impends 7,975 Posted August 10, 2016 He'd been on my longlist for about a month now, after he'd been in hospital for a suspicious amount of time with wonky kidneys. That definitely explains the length of his stay, be very impressed if he makes the new year. Aye, he certainly jumps from my proposed theme team shortlist to the main team shortlist, though 4 months is a long time for an 80 year old with the old pancreatic cancer. With the recent abundance of potential stars who jump the gun on the DDP these days, perhaps we can go the route of the old British youth swimming championships and their "You Swam too Fast" DQ certificates with "You Died Too Soon" ones for the Brian Sewells of the world.
