Given the sh*t he has had to deal with in his first 100 days, I would say that the polls are treating him not too badly. Dave C is the one who needs to look worried. He is a weak leader and too insecure in personality. As for Mr. Osbourne, I had to laugh when he accused Alistair Darling of being lacking in charisma. I found his speech to be rather condescending especially regarding the tone of his voice. In short, Brown's political career is not yet dead largely due to the fact that there is no effective opposition. Apart from admitting that he had suddenly gone cold on the idea of a snap election, he did pose the question " Is that pillock Dave's posting career on DL dead yet?" He was to be so disappointed. I am genuinely saddened to hear this, I think everybody who followed Moto GP was a fan of Norick. He was one of the most spectacular riders you would ever have seen on a 500. Even in Valentino Rossi's 125 days he was a fan of Noricks' as on his leathers he did not have his own name, but Rossifumi (I wonder if at this weekends Australian Grand Prix it will be back?) He was one of the nicest blokes in the paddock as well. Unfortunately I only got to see him race twice, but it was something to behold and I will miss him. This, for me, is the biggest miss of the year, DDP wise, because I eventually whittled it down to choosing between John Hermon & Bob Denard for the dementia hit 70 year old slot.
