Devil May Care 0 Posted February 17, 2007 Sheridan Morley died unexpectedly in his sleep aged 65. A man described as "interested in everything". Presumably death as well. Well, it's first hand knowledge now. [Topics merged-NAP]

Octopus of Odstock 2,217 Posted February 19, 2007 She's not hideous, but she's no stunner either. Indeed. Rather plain. Not the kind of girl you'd look twice at in a bar. Sweden has produced better, that's for sure.

Surely they still put alcohol in the beer in England? I admit she'd no Jade Goody but she's only eight pints away from Venus. Doctor Robert Alder's dead though. A beer for anyone who knew who he was before clicking the link.

DevonDeathTrip 2,366 Posted February 19, 2007 Sad to report the death of Elizabeth Jolley, one of Britain's finest writers - although we lost her to the Australians in 1959.
maryportfuncity 10,690 Posted February 19, 2007 Re that Swedish actress: She appeared in a string of successful films including “Hans och hennes”, “Bekännelsen” “Under ytan” and “Innan Frosten”. Who can forget those classics, eh?
Octopus of Odstock 2,217 Posted February 19, 2007 Jacob Lekgetho, who played in the 2002 World Cup for South Africa, has been killed in a car crash, according to Wikipedia. Wiki Page There's a link there to a Russian news story, but there's nothing online as of yet in English, which I find a little strange, as I thought the South African press might've covered it as well. But if it is true, the early death of a footballer is always sad.
