dave 0 Posted May 6, 2007 Ira Hoos is dead at 94.Now before you complain that Im reporting nobodies again I have to point out that I think she played an historical role in the development of economic philosophy uppon which the global economic and political system is based. Zzzzzzzzzzzz... Can we have a "yawn" smiley made available please? Obviuosly you didn't know her personally, or you might have got her name right. It is (was) IDA not IRA! sorry-I was thinking about Northern Ireland when I posted it ps no deaths to report today I'm afraid-well not since I missed reporting Alvin Batistes demise anyway
Octopus of Odstock 2,195 Posted May 6, 2007 ps no deaths to report today I'm afraid Well, I'll post one to make up for it. Pat Terry, former Charlton, Reading, Gillingham & Millwall favourite, one of those forwards who used the shoulder-charge on goalkeepers to great effect, has died after a long battle with illness & complications with pneumonia. He was 73. (Bottom of Page)

DevonDeathTrip 2,358 Posted May 7, 2007 Excuse me if you think I'm being a bit "dave", but this guy was a king: Tomasi Kulimoetoke, King of Wallis has died aged 88 It is perfectly in order to note his death - he was suggested on the ideas thread last year. R.I.P It Up And Start Again (Anubis?) will get a unique hit on the DDP if our man gets the right obits. And I'll score on the HDP and Pool Of Death.
