On a serious note:  I gave up Soda / soft drinks.  Last time I gave em up I lost 19 pounds in 2 months without changing another thing in my life (beer drinking a-plenty included).  That shit is poison, hard to get away from it though, unlike fags it tastes good.   (purposeful use of 'fags' to see how quickly it goes astray).

In my grandparents' day, pop was usually Corona and delivered by the Corona man.   It came in glass bottles with a deposit which you got back when you returned the bottle.  I liked the limeade best.
