Sir Creep 7,071 Posted April 24, 2022 Former NFL linebacker Clayton Weishuhn died in a car wreck near his hometown of Wall, Texas, on Friday. He was 62. Weishuhn, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle in a one-car rollover accident. Weishuhn became an NAIA All-American at Angelo State and helped the school to a national title in 1978. The New England Patriots drafted him in the third round in 1982. The 229 tackles Weishuhn totalled in 1983 still stand as a single-season team record. SC

Lampkin played for the Sooners from 2015 to 2017. He redshirted his first year before playing during the 2016 and 2017 seasons. In 2016, Lampkin played in only five games as a result of a six-game suspension. In 2017, Lampkin played in 12 of Oklahoma's 14 games and recorded 22 tackles and 4.5 tackles for loss. While Lampkin was at Oklahoma, the team won three Big 12 titles and reached the College Football Playoffs in 2015 and 2017. SC

Sir Creep 7,071 Posted May 12, 2022 The New England Patriots family suffered a loss on Thursday. One of the greats from the AFL days — yes, the Boston Patriots — Gino Cappelletti has died at the age of 89. He was a kicker and a wide receiver, catching 292 balls for 4,589 yards and 42 touchdowns. Cappelletti earned the AFL 1964 Most Valuable Player award and was one of three players to play in every game in the AFL’s 10-year history, along with Jim Otto and George Blanda. Cappelletti finished his career as the AFL’s all-time leader in points (1,100) and field goals (170). SC
