Other credits include Raising Cain (1992), Jumanji (1995), and Jurassic Park III (2001). Dalva was part of "The Dirty Dozen" group (wiki) of filmmaking students who attended the University of Southern California together in the mid-1960s. The group also included George Lucas. In 1977, Werner won the Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film for directing the short film In the Region of Ice.
