Paul Hince was born in Manchester and died aged 78 on July 22, played for Manchester City, Charlton, Bury, Crewe Alexandra and Macclesfield Town, winner of the First Division Championship, in 1967-68. Hince was one of four players retrospectively awarded a winner's medal in 2021, having been ineligible under the rules at the time.

Benny Rooney who played for Celtic, St Johnstone and latterly with Greenock Morton before taking over as manager of Morton in 1976 transforming them into a very successful and exciting team with players like Andy Ritchie, Neil Orr and Mark McGhee has died aged 80

 

He is very well remembered and respected by the Cappielow faithful. including me, and was inducted into the Morton Hall of Fame earlier this year

Jorge Domínguez was an Argentine footballer born in Buenos Aires who died at the age of 64 on July 30, played for Boca JR, Club de Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata (ARG), In 1984, he moved to France where he played for Nice, Toulon, Nîmes and Tours. In 1991, he returned to Argentina to play for Mandiyú. His last club was Laferrere, from the Argentine second division.
