I want to make a prediction... I believe 2020 will be the year of demented footballers.

Nobby Stiles

Gerd Muller

Ernie Moss

Stan Bowles

Jimmy Millar

Jimmy Calderwood

Frank Worthington

Matt Tees

Wout Holverda

Dave Serella

I'm gonna say at least half this list doesn't make it to 2021.

Calderwood and Serella now the last men standing.

RIP :(

The 60s and 70s were blessed with stylish characters like Stan, Georgie Best, Rodney Marsh Tony Currie, and Frank Worthington.

They were magicians who, despite being hacked down by the likes of Ron Harris and Tommy Smith, could play brilliantly on pitches that resembked mud heaps

After the game, it was off to the nightclub for champagne with the ladies. :)

Harry Kane-ass trophy cabinet.

In fairness he has a European Trophy to his name unlike Kane even if it was the Super Cup (with Forest);)

Didn't he play in all 5 games for Northern Ireland at the 1982 World Cup?

He was Brenford's player of the year in 1982, no player who has won that award after 1982 has yet died

Ron "Chopper" Harris and Eddie Gray being interviewed on ITV ahead of the Chelsea v Leeds match. Both played in the legendary 1970 FA Cup final. Gray is still very much a public figure but Harris surprised me with how good he looks for 79.
