Sean 6,339 Posted January 12, 2018 Still surprised the committee did not pick him this year.A household name guaranteed a full televised news obituary when he goes. Even if he is well enough to fight the election (which given his colon cancer and the difficult treatment that is widely said to have left him frail seems unlikely) he could easily get assassinated. Joey Russ 7,232 Posted January 28, 2018 Tsvangirai denies having 3 months to live. Tbh, I’m not 100% sure he’s telling the truth, I think it could be him trying to be private about his condition... EDIT: Now I realize he may be similar to Sydney Pollack in that sense...

Joey Russ 7,232 Posted February 6, 2018 Now this is the tweet that I assume that the above newspaper quotes. However, while I don’t expect him to gain all the followers in the world, are we sure that an account with only 6,000 followers is really him?
RadGuy 1,614 Posted February 6, 2018 I reckon it's him. Not a lot of followers because not a lot of Zimbabweans use Twitter. But if he truly is on the brink of death, I'll fall even further down in the DDP standings. Early days though...

Death Impends 8,008 Posted February 6, 2018 I think the Tsvangirai situation is like Rob Ford. In Ford's final weeks there was quite a bit of positive spin from his family, even though the between-the-lines signs signaled he was fecked.
