A Crumble pick last year's DDP, but he dropped him this time.

Only just spotted this!! I really need some of my DDP picks, especially the unique ones, to die this year rather than last years picks dying,  of which there have been a few!!!

Only discovered  Gerry O'Hara had died while researching for the Windy City pool!

Learning of deaths via Wikipedia  might become a problem for British posters- talk of Wikipedia becoming inaccessible to Brits as Wikipedia indicating it won't  conduct age checks on website users as per forthcoming UK  law...

We will have to put The Old Crem up in the spare room so he can continue his daily romp through Wiki deaths.

American jazz trumpeter Bob Higgins (wiki) supposedly dead just shy of his 98th birthday. Played with legendary bandleader Les Brown (1912–2001).

To be fair, I assumed he was already dead.

If no Legacy style obit is published, I cannot see any news outlets covering this one.

Edit: This looks like a Facebook tribute.

The following two deaths were edited on their Dutch wiki pages:

1960 Olympic Dutch swimmer Ada den Haan (wiki) reportedly died on 17 March, aged 81.

Two months ago fellow 1960 Olympic Dutch swimmer Corrie Schimmel (wiki) was also reported to have died earlier that month (on 17 January), at the age of 83. No obit for her, but unless they're a footballer it's not uncommon for their families to not report their death to the media.

@Canadian Paul, don't know if you saw this one but maybe merits some investigation given the one above turned out to be true.

John Dunmore (wiki), New Zealand academic and historian, supposedly died yesterday. Would have turned 100 in Aug.

Been on my long list for 15 years and yet surprisingly never mentioned once on DL despite his prominence in academia.

EDIT: I see British geographer/academic Alice Coleman (wiki) has also supposedly died (today, a month shy of her centenary).

TBF, both or neither of them could get a QO.
