Canadian Paul 97 Posted June 20, 2009 CP, I was just wondering when you were going to update this list again. when you were going to add new names, update some health-status and remove Shih Kien and Milvana Dean. I actually use you're list a lot in keeping track of how sick people are and when they are getting better. So I would really apriciate it if youcould update it in the near future. I've been away for the past two weeks because my weekdays are completely consumed by an intensive summer Arabic class and my weekends by a new relationship. I'll remove Dean, Kien and Hopper right now, but I probably won't be able to add new names for a while, sorry. Once the summer is over, I'll get back on track. Tanabe is sitting on my under-performing main team, thanks for sweeping him up with the other recent stiffs. Incidentally, I've given up dragging the thread to the top but I am keeping the Deathrace 2009 master list up to date, Tanable being the most recent to cop it, so there's another ready reckoner on there should anyone want it. BrunoBrimley 86 Posted June 21, 2009 Hillary Clinton if for no other reason than she needs to be in the spotlight at all times. Notice how she got bugged after Sotomayor broke her ankle? Hillary promptly went out and damaged her own arm. It's really similar to back in 1993 when Vince Foster committed suicide with a gun 3 miles away and she promptly presented a 20 volume health care plan which the Senate and Congress chortled over before using it to stuff their wallets (it was apparently 20 volumes of 100 dollar bills stapled together). So mark my words when Ruth Bader Ginsberg dies on January 3, 2010 Hillary will immediately run out and keel over dead herself. (If I am somehow wrong, then I vote for any surviving members of Abba)
Madame Defarge 21 Posted June 22, 2009 84 year old ex NYC mayor Ed Koch upstaged both Hilary and Sotomayor by undergoing "challenging" heart surgery. Challenging? Hmmm, does that mean that the doctor had to be all- the- way sober for the operation or does it have a slightly darker meaning, as in ' Whew! It was touch and go in there for awhile' ? His honor also suffered a mild stroke in '87 and was hospitalized in 1999 for heart surgery.
The Unknown Man 584 Posted June 24, 2009 Ed McMahon - Johnny Carson's sidekick, turned 86 this year while fighting pneumonia and bone cancer in a hospital. Ed McMahon died on the 23rd of June 2009. His name should be removed from the list as well.

Ageless Immortal Giant 2 Posted June 28, 2009 I'd like to comment on a few of these... Candye Kane - she's also an ex-porn star, and a BBW (fat women) porn star at that. Do not include on DeathList because chances of UK obit are, realistically, negligible. Stephen Hawking - there was a health scare earlier this year. 2010 fo' sho'. Not one to miss. Gloria Stuart - she'll turn 100 next year, if she lives that long, and has outlived the last survivor of the Titanic this year, who funnily enough was younger than she is. Definitely a prime candidate for 2010, UK obit not a problem. Since we're doing so badly this year so far (almost halfway through the year and just 3 hits), I think we should seriously consider the two choices I've highlighted, for next year. The Unknown Man 584 Posted June 28, 2009 Godfrey Rampling - Britain's oldest Olympic athlete and gold-medal winner and likely the oldest gold-medal winner of any country still living. Turned 100 this year and is on and off. Godfrey Rampling has died. He needs to be deleted from the list as well, along with Farrah Fawcett.

I believe Gloria Stuart is already on the list. I do have her on my deathpool for 09 though. I would add Walter Cronkite to the list (if he does not die this year). He's definitely a prime candidate based on what I've read. What about pop singer Sonique? Maybe add her too? I'm considering nominating her to be my "joker" on my 2010 list. Boleyn 1 Posted June 29, 2009 What about pop singer Sonique? Maybe add her too? I'm considering nominating her to be my "joker" on my 2010 list. I mentioned her about a week ago but wasn't sure if her cancer threat was serious enough to be worried for her life? Has it been confirmed to be untreatable or anything? I would think a young relatively healthy woman would stand a chance of successfully beating the illness maybe.

BrunoBrimley 86 Posted July 2, 2009 Dan Rather----because I can't stand him and he looks terrible. He actually makes Walter Cronkite look healthy. Sean Connery---he hasn't done much lately and the chemicals used to create all those hairpieces he's worn have undoubtedly seeped into his brain and are eating away at it as we speak. Diana Ross---between her drunk driving and the insanity those Jackson kids will cause her, she's likely to make the Supreme sacrifice if we only add her to the list. James Patterson----he will type up one tooo many of his "How to" books which he disguises as murder mysteries and someone will try one out on him. Alex Rodriguez-----thinking he can get away with yet another steroid injection he will take one just before heading out on the field to take a whack at a ball. A new super-strong steroid will cause him to take a swing with the bat and the force will send him spinning. He will rise rapidly and hit his head on the Goodyear Blimp passing above, killing him instantly. Someone in the British Parliament----I'm sure one of them has to either be old or in frail state of health, so it's time. Hillary Clinton---as mentioned elsewhere, she craves attention and when Ruth Bader Ginsberg loses her battle to yet another cancer, Clinton will engage in a torrid affair with Rush Limbaugh and Newt Gingrich---the thought of that alone will do her in. Newt Gingrich---see Hillary Clinton Rush Limbaugh---see Hillary and Newt. Edward M. Kennedy---Teddy will finally go to the bottom of the lake when he forgets that even though he has ballooned up like a whale, he is not actually a whale and cannot swim (anymore). Bob Dylan----Zimmerman will die when he realizes that nobody, not even Joan Baez gives a rat's rear about him anymore and that his 60s style protest songs are just Blowing in the wind as far as the protesters of today are concerned....which brings us to... Pete Seeger----Now 90, (born in May of 1919) Seeger, known to many as a semi-radical folk singer from back in the 50s and 60s will be eating breakfast one morning, contempating his now erstwhile group The Weavers when he'll hear yet again, "We Shall Overcome" playing on the radio. In his rush to shut it off as he has grown tired of hearing everybody and their uncle sing (or try to sing) it he will slip on the parfait he dropped on the floor the night before. He will linger in a coma for 92 minutes before his eyes pop open and he sings one last rousing rendition of Goodnight Irene, after which he will turn to his wife and declare he wuld like to be burried in several Little Boxes. Glenn Yarbrough----although he could rightly earn a space in the heavyweight people who refuse to die, Yarbrough who will be 80 in January is on the list because I'm intent on disposing of all the folkies from the 60s. Yarbrough will meet his fate while serenading the widow of the recently departed Pete Seger. She will grab a crate of limes and whack him until he sees lites----hence the naming of his old group the Limeliters Ron Popeil who has given us the Ginsu knife, the pocket fisherman and spray-on hair----all that spray on hair has got to be taking a toll. NYC King Mayor Midget Bloomberg. Insisting that he won his third term fairly, he will throw a tantrum, stamp his feet and crash through the trap door which the by then dead Ed Koch had put in some years earlier in the Mayors Office. Edward I. Koch---former NYC mayor----he's pushing 85 and is in bad health. Ruth Madoff---unable to live on the pittance of 2.5 million she'll attempt to cook a meal herself and will be unaware that a flame should come out on top of her Royal Rose gas stove. The gas will get her. Bernard Madoff-----Upon hearing of Ruth's demise, he will laugh himself to death realizing he got yet another one to be a victim of his greed. Dick Cheney---former White House pupeteer, he will die from boredom at having nothing to do (i.e. people to control) Potato Skins Baxter---a previously unknown ventriloquist, Baxter is 102, so it's about time. Guest Bob Loblah Posted July 26, 2009 25Jul09 Whereas Keith Richard ( not Richards .... Keith was born under the surname Richards but chose to drop the ' s ' in the early formation of the Rolling Stones ... a little bit of history here ) used to be on the ' Ten Most Likely Do Die ' LIST back in the '70s and 80s for 10 years in a row......and felt kind of sad when he was removed from the list, Bob Loblah thinks it would be a nice gesture to include Keith in the year 2010. The laughter should rank right up there with his ' smokin' the ashes of his dad. Forever and Ever Bob Loblah
DevonDeathTrip 2,358 Posted August 7, 2009 Eunice Kennedy - Nationalizer of the Special Olympics, JFK's sister and Arnie Schwarzenegger's mother-in-law.
