BrunoBrimley 86 Posted January 1, 2009 I used to have a deck--actually a double deck of Pierre Cardin playing cards and a Pierre Cardin wallet which was made of a very nice supple leather (the wallet not the cards) The cards came in a hard plastic case and one set had a dark brown with beige fleur de lis and the other set was beige with brown fleur de lis. I personally don't see him going any time soon.
DevonDeathTrip 2,358 Posted May 6, 2009 Pierre Cardin, who broke his shoulder in a fall last week, has been hospitalised with an undiagnosed ailment after falling ill at his home.

BrunoBrimley 86 Posted September 2, 2009 I am frustrated and angry that this ancient sack of talentless designering has lasted this long. I had been planning on making some money by selling my set of oyster shell topped tables which PC had once had in his showroom.

Spade_Cooley 9,530 Posted November 6, 2011 The BBC rolling out the red carpet for his 89th bday. Apparently he's never smoked before and he still drives (a Renault 5). That's about the level of insight here.

Davey Jones' Locker 1,324 Posted November 7, 2011 There is a new, in-depth interview with Cardin here: http://www.bbc.co.uk...gazine-15593861 From that, it seems he is in good health and has looked after himself having, for instance, never smoked a cigarette in his life. No offence to the almighty powers-that-be on the DL Committee but was there any reason, other than advanced age, that he was chosen for this year's list? EDIT: Screw me. I didn't see Spade Cooley had already posted the same interview two comments above mine.
