John Blackman now has to face a second cancer fight:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-10891197/Hey-Hey-Saturday-John-Blackman-reveals-life-threatening-cancer-diagnosis.html

The Daily Mail is a little contradictory about what kind of cancer it is (bone cancer? Skin cancer?).

On Facebook he posted about his cancer battle this:

"Four weeks ago, I was diagnosed with a very unexpected bone cancer on the top of my noggin and the possibility of brain cancer beneath.

This was the same aggressive cancer that took my jaw four years ago.

Happily, the cancer was spreading up and down and not in multiple directions.

This could have made surgery improbable.

Following PET and CAT Scans and a radioactive MRI, my plastic surgeon Frank consulted with my neuro surgeon, Patrick and together they devised a plan of attack.

Both are eminent in their fields and professionally precise who have worked on several similar surgeries together.

They were very confident of success".

Report of the death of Tommy Dysart, Scottish born Australian actor, best known here as murdering officer Jock Stewart in Prisoner: Cell Block H: https://www.shannons.com.au/club/news/shannons/vale-tommy-dysart-1935-2022/

Interesting that Wiki has him born 1940, death report has him born 1935.

Neighbours actor Karl Fletcher puts his hair loss down to Alopecia, but looks like it could be due to having cancer treatment going by his bloated appearance in the previews of the final Neighbours episodes due to air soon.

John-Michael Howson - born 1936 - Hollywood gossip columnist, writer of musicals, homosexual activist. Starting to age quite significantly.

Jeannie Little - couldn't find age on the internet but she must be getting old. She always looks skeletal but that is probably just her metabolism.

Peter Russell-Clarke - I had forgotten about him! How old is he? No age on the internet but according to web he sometimes gives out recipes on Triple J radio. Anyone heard him? Does he sound in good health?

Lillian Frank - late 1930s??? - socialite, hairdresser and charity fundraiser.

Lillian Frank, awarded the MBE in the 1970s for charitable services, reportedly dead:

Probably belongs in the NZ thread, but she was based in Australia since the late 80s.  Margaret Urlich has died after a 2.5 year illness with cancer, aged 57.  She sang the female vocal part on Daryl Braithwaite's 'The Horses' (though did not appear in the music video, with her lines instead lip synced by a model), and had solo hits with 'Escaping', 'Number One (Remember When We Danced All Night)', 'Boy In the Moon' and 'Gonna Make You Mine' in the early-mid 90s.

Derek Denton has supposedly died aged 98 as per a now reverted edit to Wikipedia.

Australian scientist who worked in the field of animal consciousness, and widower of pioneering ballet dancer Dame Margaret Scott (1922–2019).

Well, as the IP which made the edits is from Melbourne University, I think we are safe this time.

Aussie actor Tony Barry reported dead by Sam Neill. Think of your favourite Aussie TV show, he was probably in it.
