Didn't think I had a chance in hell of scoring him so I was somewhat astonished when he actually made the first move on me, and was all the more keen on my suggestion we go out. I don't think I've ever liked anyone this strongly before (it's at least as much as mango likes Jimmy Carter), and if I could keep him then I think I'd be very contented with life. I've had a fair few things to deal with this last year so to finally find love would be a happy ending. In case anyone here was remotely curious about how this worked out, I am pleased to report it has gone very well. Date #2 to be arranged soon. 12
Toast 16,263 Posted November 7 I am feeling awful because I just killed a barn owl It was sitting in the middle of the road facing away from me and it just looked like a piece of litter. At the last second it turned to face me and I saw what it was, but it was far too late to avoid it. So sad.

Contrary to my neurologist's expectations, this tumor has grown a little bit, but is still very small and still does not cause any problems to me. A couple of months ago we discussed my latest MRI, my neurologist suggested surgery to me and I agreed. I will undergo surgery (craniotomy) next month. Just thought I'd mention, I might talk a bit more about this if anyone has questions on the surgery, etc. Tumor removed and they told me it was non-malignant. Post-surgery ICU was an...experience with the stablizing my BP etc, but I was not in much pain and felt safe having nurses in the same room 24/7. Worst part might've been having the cannulas, catheter and other stuff removed. In the next bed there was a 70-something woman who'd had a more dangerous tumor (meningioma) removed and got out of ICU (and out of hospital) before me, and even asked the nurses if the other patients are okay. Standard hospital room was much more "boring" but tricked me into getting up and walking around. I'm out of hospital now, left with a gnarly scar with around 20 staples, slight occasional dizziness, back pain, a pair of hospital socks etc...hoping I won't get any complications. Thank you all who wished me well. 11
Master Obit 872 Posted November 17 It's a minor irritance, but is there any chance that the block on sending a couple of messages/PMs in short succession could be relaxed for established members? I get that it's there to stop spambots, but surely it could be removed for people who are clearly established members (maybe a minimum of 100 posts over at least 3 months)?
ThereWillBeDeaths7 758 Posted November 28 Some happy news I want to share with all of you: about two months ago, my wife and I became parents for the first time. Our son is in good health and growing well, just as my wife has recovered well from giving birth. Our daily lives have changed massively, but we're lucky enough to have lots of loved ones who are there for us in these changing times. We're both completely in love with our boy, and it's great to see him learn new things. 8

In other news, bears shit in the woods. Taylor Swift somehow made my top 5 as well. Putting someone first only works when you're in their top 5 or summat. Steve 666 Posted December 5 I won't make the Deathlist as I'm not a celebrity and certainly won't get no qualifying obituary but I will be dead soon from a broken heart as my partner has left me. I loved her so so much and now my life is null and void. I can't go on.

Yes, love is sometimes cruel But you will certainly find another love(s), I know that at this moment you don't want to know anything else, but with time it will pass and you will find happiness to live, find hobbies and find someone who loves you, and that you will love, that if you were with the person who left you you wouldn't find it, don't despair It would be much better if we only loved those who loved us I'm sorry about what happened, I hope you can get over it soon

You can pull through this and hopefully in the future when the time is right another lovely lady will enter into your life once more, and you can feel how lucky you, and know the right lady and relationship was worth the wait
Steve 666 Posted December 5 I'm totally totally broken. I've got nothing in me. She was my world. I would have broken every bone and limb to keep her safe and happy as a man should look after his wife. I can't guarantee I will be here tomorrow as I have just taken a plethora of mixed pills not saying which or how many but thanks @livingbygrace and @diego for your lovely comments. Goodnight everyone. 1
