Does this make me last on the site? Do we have anyone from California? Note: I am sitting in the ONLY place on earth I can drive 25 miles SW and enter a later (or should I say earlier?) time zone! Why do Americans refer to the New Year in the plural? We say New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day (note the apostrophe), but generally New Year. We do only get one at a time.
