I was only reading up about Smith and Goody the other week. I have vague memories of Mel Smith being in something other than Not the Nine O'Clock News in the early 80s and it must have been that. RIP.

Bob Goody turned up in the first part of Why Didn't They Ask Evans? this evening. Must have been his last role. Good to see him, even after the sad news of his death.
