But then I don't think any of those shows these obscure actors played in ever were successful outside of Britain... except for the American remakes. It's a bit sad, actually. Christopher Neame has appeared in Babylon 5 and Star Trek as well as in Ghostbusters II and License to Kill. Terrence Hardiman is best known for his portrayal of the Demon Headmaster in a BBC adaptation of the Gillian Cross books. Jan Francis went on to the long running sit-com Just Good Friends.
