Searching hereabouts suggests we totally missed this at the time but former child actor and occasional cast member in dramas Douglas Simmonds died six years ago. Actually had some brief dealings with the guy years after his television career when he was an academic. Well read and knowledgeable about stuff the rest of humanity didn't even know existed.

Hope this is the right thread and there isn't a separate British sitcom thread but according to Wikipedia actress Rosemary Frankau has died. 

 

She starred in British sitcom Terry and June  as Beattie Harris for 9 series amongst other things. 

 

No other confirmation as of yet.

FFS....oh i may agree this seems the most appropriate thread, but FFS (yes I said it again) now this guy is in THREE threads in a matter of 30 minutes.  Search box must not be working again *rolls eyes*.
