WooHoo!!  Sir Creep should get his 2nd lifetime DDP solo!  Of course maybe presiding over the case that allowed the attack on Obamacare (that went to the Supreme Court) isn’t recent enough (2010).  If so I have 3 hits but 2 Losts (is that a word?)

 

Here’s when he declared Obamacare unconstitutional.  I honestly thought that alone was a shoe-in for a QO but apparently it’s all forgotten in the annals of history.

Troy Patterson, who was shot in a botched robbery in January 1990 and spent the next 33 years in a vegetative state, has died. He was 60. Patterson, who was off duty at the time of the incident, never regained consciousness.

…and while that’s going on, here is the news for gibbons:

 

John Gibbons, a former United States Marshal for the District of Massachusetts, has died.

Gibbons retired in August of 2021 after more than four decades in law enforcement. He was the first African American U.S. Marshal for the District of Massachusetts. He was appointed by President Barack Obama in December 2009 and sworn in on January 13, 2010.

Carroll Cooley, a retired Phoenix Police Captain and the arresting officer in the landmark case partially responsible for the U.S. Supreme Court’s Miranda rights ruling requiring a suspect be read their rights, has died. He was 87.

Arkansas Supreme Court Justice Robin Wynne died Wednesday night, according to an email from the Administrative Office of the Courts released Thursday (June 22).

Wynne, 70, was re-elected to the Arkansas Supreme Court to a second eight-year term in 2022. He was first elected to the Arkansas Supreme Court in 2014.
