dean1991 116 Posted December 12, 2012 Who do we all think will be the highest & most memorable death of the new year? Lohan for me.

BrunoBrimley 86 Posted December 12, 2012 Bill Clinton or possibly Rupert Murdoch. Then again it may be that Prince in England who wants to be King..... Chuck of Windsor,. Hard to explain, I just have a feeling about it.

angryGreatness 96 Posted December 12, 2012 Out of Nowhere sudden death > Bush/Carter > Castro > Mandela > Thatcher > Prince Philip If and when, though.

Razor Boy 19 Posted December 12, 2012 Could be the Pope, apparently he's not that popular.
maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted December 12, 2012 Mandela for me, his spirit may be "fading" but there's a lot of spirit there - probs 19 days worth at least. Unless a couple of renegade doctors, still harbouring white supremacist sympathies, sneak in with a pillow over his face.
CaptainChorizo 1,982 Posted December 12, 2012 If it's not Lohan from a drug overdose then it will probably be some high profile movie star or pop star on no one's list dying unexcpectedly be it plane/car crash, murder or suicide. Even The Pope,Thatcher or Mandela dying won't be as big a media event as someone relatively young dying.

Bibliogryphon 9,581 Posted December 13, 2012 I am assuming Nelson Mandela won't make it to 2013. But I think Prince Philip will be the biggest death of 2013 - sometime around Easter.
Guest Guest Posted December 13, 2012 I think Nelson Mandela will make it to 2013 and will therefore be the biggest death of the year. That said he'll prob die tomorrow

Magere Hein 1,400 Posted December 13, 2012 This discussion is silly. This forum is about predicting who will die next year. Those of us who actually make a list, in DDP or in some other way, know that that's not an exact science. The game of it all is that we don't know. Now we can't even agree on what the Highest Profile Death of 2012 is supposed to be. How does predicting the same for 2013, a year of which we don't know who will die, make sense? regards, Hein
Spade_Cooley 9,525 Posted December 13, 2012 Probably Peter Falk if he loses his battle with Alzheimer's.

My thread is about picking who you THINK will die & gain the most worldwide attention. No more silly than the Deathlist tbh.
the_engineer 1,415 Posted December 13, 2012 prince Philip or thatcher from a UK standpoint . world view nelson mandela ,castro . sporting view , pele , Muhammad ali . surprise deaths because of drugs, accident etc i would say your spot on with lohan , faith evans ,paris hilton (hilton probably has minders looking after her when she takes drugs so doubt her) or nick nolte. Of course if bieber , obama or the pope were to die that would overshadow all but they are very unlikely to die this year.

BrunoBrimley 86 Posted December 13, 2012 Who do we all think will be the highest & most memorable death of the new year? Lohan for me. still not sure why a train wreck (actually a car wreck in her case) death would be that surprising considering the nonstop downward path the poor child has been in these last few years. Not a week or a fortnight goes by that she isn't in court for some sort of problem, usually connected to a night at the clubs. Memorable? Not really.
