Pretty convinced there is a horse-racing thread other than the tipster one in Extra-C, but if there is, I can't find it. Anyway, former DDP Pick and one of the oldest trainers still going, Reg Hollinshead, has died, aged 89. http://www.racingpost.com/news/horse-racing/veteran-trainer-reg-hollinshead-dies-at-89/1262281/top/#newsArchiveTabs=last7DaysNews

Ray Harryhausen has died at the age of 92

That's 2 days in a row that an iconic figure has died but was not ever on the list! Surely there must be a special thread for him somewhere at least!

Have any of you noticed how prolific the last 48 hours has been for deathlist ? Some major deaths eg Andreotti and harryhausen. I think we areentering a very fertile period. The days ahead could see some big names fall that we have waited for for years. Exciting times lie just ahead!

Technically died in 2012 but Chicana writer and activist Barbara "Bobbi" Salinas-Norman's mummified remains have been discovered. Her body was found near this poster:

O' fuck.... I feel annoyed about overlooking her. Does anyone remember her brief appearance in The Naked Gun? Obviously she was into self-parody (or at least had a sense of humour).
