With all the 50000 seasons of the show, and drag getting more and more mainstream, I wonder if this "industry" is going to attract the same degree of unstable looking-for-the-quickest-way-to-get-famous people like other deadpooling friendly shows like survivor. Traditionally drag queens operates in "Houses" (Hauses, whatever), so there was always a support network around them. With the drag explosion we're getting more "Instaqueens", who barely perform live and operate mainly on their own and online. arghton 6,648 Posted December 13, 2023 Norwegian drag queen, actor and writer Jakob Margido Esp (Flettfrid Andresen), dead at 80 in Gran Canaria after two weeks in artificial coma. Horrible year for drag queens it seems, but Michelle DuBarry (92), Maisie Trollette (90) and the indestructible Akihiro Miwa (88) are still alive.
