I looked into this and the editor is a Swiss personage who has edited other footballer Wikis. But there's nothing in any Serbian media and as he was also an international coach, I would have been surprised if nothing was noted at any point. 2011 could well be true but I can't find anything. These days I tend to err on alive until proved dead even if most of the pre 1930 footballers and some of the South American footballers from 1958 are likely gone.
BeretBleu 138 Posted April 11, 2022 Freddy Rincon, Colombian player in the 90s, in critical condition after an accident . https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Freddy-rincon-l-ancien-capitaine-de-la-colombie-dans-un-etat-critique-apres-un-accident/1327286
Spade_Cooley 9,527 Posted April 12, 2022 Interesting that this is the second time Rincon has been in critical condition following a car accident, having also totalled his motor in 2013. I'm not saying this could be related to his alleged links with local cocaine barons, but...

Octopus of Odstock 2,197 Posted April 27, 2022 Streich was the better player of the two and, as a striker, got more glory. I'm a little surprised, but not overly, that he got a QO

Spade_Cooley 9,527 Posted May 1, 2022 I thought Ivica Osim would have had more mentions on the forum, but his sole one comes upthread. Anyway, he's dead at 80. Managed Yugoslavia to the quarters in 1990, and was part of the Yugo squad that finished runners-up in the 1968 Euros. Had a big run as Strum Graz manager in the late 90s as well.

If they've copied it from Wikipedia, then no, but this may be the original information that led to the Wiki info. I'd prefer something in Serbian myself to be sure.
