Along with Papi, Dropsy and Michel, he is the 4th player of the French 1978 WC squad to pass away

The England 1970 World Cup squad must have been one of the more unlucky ones as four died in their 50’s.

As an aside, amazing England didn't qualify with those players as some real quality there.

For 1974 they faced an inspired Polish keeper. Poland went on to the World Cup semifinals.

In 1978 they were in the same group as Italy and only one of them could qualify. Victims of the sixteen teams only World Cup format at the time.

Both their vanquishers did very well at those world cups. Italy were about ten minutes away from the final iirc.

They finished second to Hungary in 1982 qualifying but by then it was twenty four teams at the cup so England made it through.

It's possible that Burhan Sargun could die off-radar when Fenerbahçe says they no longer have updates on him.

https://fenerbahcetarihi.org/2023/01/canavar-burhan-roportaji/

Two things to take from that.

One, it's a fan club interview, not the official.club website, so it's the fan club that don't know how he is.

Two, Mehmet Dincer is dead (off radar, so your fears are justified) as Sargun is labelled as Fenerbache's oldest living player. Dincer, 5 years older, must have died.
