The previous "record" was 12 years 5 months and 19 days between Juan Lopez Fontana and Helmut Schon deaths (1983-1996) On the opposite, Zagallo and Beckenbauer died only 2 days apart, the shortest gap between World Cup Winning Managers deaths.
