I always have a quick look when searching the DDP above and below the person I'm looking for, which is why I've spotted this.

Dylan Knox, a unique pick, sadly died in December 2014, according to this article from the Sunderland Echo. http://www.sunderlandecho.com/news/health/mother-finds-inspiration-from-frozen-to-remember-teenager-who-died-of-cancer-1-7158460

I am pretty sure his family members + past and present Sanoma Williams employees knew who he was.

I'm actually surprised how often I find random old person XYZ already picked.

Louisa Colpeyn obit:

http://www.theguardian.com/books/2015/oct/31/patrick-modiano-interview-paris-nobel

"and his Belgian-born mother, Louisa Colpeyn, a vedette of the Flemish cinema who died this year,"

Unorthodox, but makes the cut.

Incidentally, that must be record between death and obit notification, although if we're being picky, the article was published on Oct 31st. Still, that's 9 months!

How about this interesting idea for the scoring system.

I noted you have a bit listing dates in which no candidate has died:

29th February

8th October

26th October

30th October

21st December

28th December

How about you award an extra point to any team which selects a candidate who dies on those dates? Quite random like the 'party pooper' bonus.

Excuse my voyeurism. Oct 8 has come/gone did we pop that cherry? Keep an eye open for those upcoming Oct dates in a couple weeks.

SC

8 October - Paul Prudhomme/Richard Davies

30 October - Al Molinaro

That leaves 2 dates to go this year to fill.

Edit: Actually that list is up to end of 2013. In 2014 Udo Jurgens and Billie Whitelaw died on 21 December 2014. So only 28 December can qualify another death this year.
