Everyone with at least 5 hits by the end of this month is on track to get 20 hits by the end of the year, at that rate. But the early hits are probably the easy ones, like Sam Simon or Little Jimmy Dickens. I guess the probability is extremely high that at least one or two out of 20 terminally ill people makes a turnaround, like Valerie Harper (or Wilko Johnson). But how can the odds of late-year hits be improved? Maybe by choosing a couple of "likely" fluke hits, like Gascoigne?
