TQR 14,396 Posted May 22 Sunak's tenure as PM ending by getting drenched to the skin while Things Can Only Get Better drowns his speech out is fitting and beautifully Iannucciesque.

TQR 14,396 Posted May 22 Starmer's speech just now. Tbh he could've just screamed the word "Shiiiiiiiit" and I'd still vote for his party to stop the Tories, but actually the speech was good. Reassuing, professional, maybe not quite as radical a change as many want but by fuckity a government led by him feels like it'd be a giant leap forward.

Not exciting, but sombre, serious and boring. Just what we need after the Tory psychodrama. Sunak said it was a decision between his plan and no plan. Given the choice, I'll have no plan every day of the week (and I know Starmer will give us an idea of a plan before election day).

Sod's Law 445 Posted May 22 16 minutes ago, Clorox Bleachman said: Most of the people interviewed by ITV News in Worcester said, "I dunno bab, they're all as bad as each other, I probably won't vote" Though it raises the question of whether it's more damaging for the country if these morons voted or didn't vote. If they were forced to vote at gunpoint, chances are it would be for Reform UK because 'at least they stand out, guv'.
