Barbara Streisand has cancer

We think.........

Are those two statements linked in any way?

Headline of NE versus what the actual text of the article says

Oh right, that's almost proper reporting, then.

Respect to the NE.

is it known what type it could be something really bad like pancreatic cancer or something that is not as life threatening.

I just scanned the article and it looks like she had mysterious visits to her doctor. Speculation but no evidence. She is planning to publish her memoirs in 2017 so I think this is another example of NE scattergun approach to journalism

and the issue before that and one from three months ago and one from 2014.

If she is it is taking longer than Jeremy Corbyn's reshuffle.

There's a smaller "Cher dying" on the cover of this week's issue, with the main story being the discovery of Elvis's lovechildren

The National Enquirer's sister outfit Radar Online has a literal "SAD LAST DAYS" story about Monty Brinson now, I'm inclined to believe them.

Mhmm, the combo of cancer now in brain + recently suffered a stroke + hasn't posted to his usually chirpy Instagram since Dec. 26 (well, apparently there was something else since then, but it was so out there it had to be deleted) + a Playmate ex-wife of has has had to make comments on his Dec. 26 photo just to relay the latest on him means I don't anticipate him seeing the month's end.

Yes, I agree. There's also this general feeling of "acceptance" on his Instagram. The same that I feel on Kris Travis's twitter feed (It's not public anymore, booo!).

This week it is Willie Nelson who is apparently close to death (or a least we have a photo of him looking rough and have a quote from his Doctor's cousin's cleaning lady's sister-in-law)

This week the Sad Last Days are for former Charlie's Angel Kate Jackson.

However Kenny Rogers is bravely battling his illnesses.

Kenny's "courage" extends to continuing his farewell tour and - therefore - being so healthy he's insurable for the jaunt. As we've just seen with Ginger Baker, it's possible to be so ill you can't get a gig.

Incidentally re Kate Jackson, according to Wikipedia her long delayed autobiography is due out at the end of 2020 - presumably she plans to be around to promote it. She'll be 72 then.

Nooooooooooooo! Kate Jackson was my favourite Charlie's Angel. What is it? Recurrence of cancer? Drugs? Alcohol? Or something to do with this gossip-laden snippet?

This week celebs who are near death include Loretta Lynn, Burt Reynolds, Aretha Franklin and the astonishing news that Drew Barrymore is fat, so fat they are describing her weight as deadly(but they probably only means if she sits on you).

I am not a football expert but when they finished second in the group and the luck of the draw got us Iceland I thought maybe that was quite cunning.

There are only 300,000 of them, how can the manage to field 12 decent players. What is wrong with us?

Its not over yet though......
