Watching Jezza on BBC parliament.Very clearly has a prism in his glasses on the right side.So he is almost certainly suffering from double vision.Question is why?Certainly gives more weight to the theories floated on this thread earlier that Watson's attempted coup by Momentum was due to concerns about Corbyns health.

That prism/right side stuff

Anyone clued up enough to know what condition (medically) might cause that?

Can be a range of conditions ranging from cataracts to MS or a brain tumour. It is to do normally with muscle weakness in the eye.My Grandad had one at 90 due to peripheral neuropathy combined with age.

Corbyn said a few months ago he was receiving treatment for an eye condition.

The question is what is causing the muscle weakness.I have noted he often moves his head to one side when speaking which I assumed was a mannerism but the eye weakness may be the reason.

It probably is making him tired and fed up as migraines often occur with double vision even if it is purely the result of an eye condition.I can't see it affecting him as a political leader however I am not sure it is a good idea to cycle with double vision .

It's a brilliant idea.

Put yer claws away Toastie!!

To be fair to all, Boris is one of many cunts inhabiting our Political system at the mo.

Cunts to the left, cunts to the right and cunts in the middle.

What a great choice we all have!!

Amid rumours of his ill health, he's eating more porridge to prepare for the rigours of an election campaign. Proper socialist porridge or hippy new-wave overnight oats?

He's got to convince the rest of his party to vote for an election in the first place....

So, a Marmite government goes into an election against an opposition led by a controversial 70 year old leader who has rumours of ill health, and lots of people vote more for the party's ideas than the actual leader because there was a big split in the official opposition over internal selections and tariff, to the point many Tory MPs couldn't image him ever becoming Prime Minister. He is also seen as being unable to stop one of the great prejudices of his day because he can't control his own party on the subject...

But enough of Henry Campbell-Bannerman...

Corbyn on Johnson v Corbyn can be summed up thus:

Jobs, listen, *Sniff* new deal, explain priorities and decisions, *swallow hard* NHS not for sale, Climate Change emergency, *look at camera with disconcerting bad eye* no SNP deal, once in a generation election (Say whaaat?), *inhale* Dickens, Labour, poverty.

Surprised he didn't get a mike to drop and walk off in triumph.

Moving this topic back on topic (and away from another one of YoungWillz's political rants), can somebody on here with a good understanding of medicine shed light on Corbyn's new spectacles?

The blog Guido Fawkes is claiming he has a fresnel prism lens which is given to people who have suffered a stroke.

Labour are of course denying any major health implications, instead saying he has an eye condition.

Given the shittiness of the source, I'd say he's almost certainly fine.

Would he have had time for a stroke since 2015 without it being noticed.  Leader of the Opposition only have a couple of weeks holiday a week.

Does anyone think Corbyn has a chance of becoming PM in 3 weeks? I just have a sneaking suspicion that there might be a lot of people intending to vote for him but too embarrassed to admit it. We could all be in for a big shock on friday the 13th !

I had a dream last night, as vivid as anything, that Jeremy Corbyn was outside 10 Downing Street after winning the election. Could it be a premonition?

I have had no such premonition this time around... so far anyway !

I really liked the beard on him. Labour leaders should wear more beards, if they are men. Maybe they should also drink a little and eat meat occasionally.

If they are women... they should have an idea of low-paid manual work. Give me a female bricklayer, or a cashier, or a bartender.

I seen a female roadworker the other day for the first time. She looked much tougher than our current leaders
