Sean 6,281 Posted January 4, 2016 Â Too early to be included in my view but she has deteriated rather rapidly. are you saying she was a Fawlty pick? Â Â Possibly but it would be remiss of us to omit such a towering figure in British acting when we know she is ill.Apparently she has had dementia for 15 years which I didn`t realise until recently. Sean 6,281 Posted January 20, 2016 Prunella spoke in public a couple of days ago and if you type her name in Twitter it also seems that she and Timothy did an interview for some programme.https://twitter.com/Glen_Art/status/688915918236286976
Spade_Cooley 9,474 Posted February 2, 2016 Out and about to collect her "Oldie" award. Good opportunity to check the form on some other potential picks in these photos.

Gatekeeper 0 Posted February 20, 2016 She's planning to continue working: Â http://www.express.co.uk/showbiz/tv-radio/641044/Prunella-Scales-Alzheimers It seems so odd to me though. She always played these witty characters, and now she's lost her wits. Alzheimer is probably the worst thing that could happen to someone.
Sean 6,281 Posted December 2, 2016 Notice no statement has been released on behalf of Prunella Scales in relation to Andrew Sachs death not even one issued by Tim on behalf of the pair.
Toast 16,063 Posted December 2, 2016 Notice no statement has been released on behalf of Prunella Scales in relation to Andrew Sachs death not even one issued by Tim on behalf of the pair. Â Maybe they are on their narrowboat and not keeping up with news. A friend of mine has one and is often out of contact.

drol 11,797 Posted December 2, 2016 It's a risk to drop her next year, but I reckon there is plenty of better picks around.
Sean 6,281 Posted December 2, 2016 She is a tough one to judge. In canal journeys she seems ok but Tim is clearly prompting and covering for her very poor short term memory.Last year he said she had been slowly deteriating since around 2000 and was diagnosed around that time. That is a long time to have dementia and she is of course getting older now and could easily deteriate rapidly next year and would be an embarassing miss.I would say put her on next years list but far lower than 22. Sean 6,281 Posted June 24, 2017 Just saw her and Tim'Great Canal Journeys through India.Prunella has not deteriorated at all since the last series. She can still talk clearly walk unaided and even had a go at traditional Indian dancing.Good move dropping her this year.
