Thatcher 2,419 Posted September 10, 2017 Sir David Robert Ford, British Chief Secretary of Hong Kong (1986-1993), has died aged 82. He was the last non-ethnic Chinese to hold the post. The surviving holders of the post are Sir David Akers-Jones (age 90), who also served as acting Governor and Anson Chan (age 77), who also served as the first Chief Secretary following handover to China.
