Checked some of the names.

Nguyễn Ngọc Trìu died off the radar in 2016.

The alive ones are:

Nguyễn Thị Bình has gone downhill during the last years. In a video from November she could still sit, but looks ghoulish. Also seems like she now lives at 108 Hospital, as the video was probably filmed there. Most notable out of the living ones and won't die off radar. However it might take a while, Vietnamese politicians traditionally seem to spend around one to two years there before they finally die.

Trần Phương was wheelchairbound last year, but still leads Hanoi's University of Business and Technology.

Nguyễn Khánh hasn't made appearances recently as far as I know.

Đoàn Duy Thành is also still alive.

New photo of Nguyen Thi Binh. Wheelchair bound but looks better than usual.

Oommen Chandy recovering well

Might have recovered from his pneumonia, but not exactly the picture of health:

He's undergoing immunotherapy now.

Also, on former Indian Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda - his main ailment seems to be diabetes, has been reported in the past that he's diabetic. Very ill last year with complications from diabetes and falls, now seemingly doing fine.

This post was the last time we heard anything from @JiroemonKimura, which is coming up on a year now.

Looks like JK and Dan Bongino are the same person and this post was a brilliant way of hiding in plain sight.

Yael Dayan, 10 years member of the Israeli parliament and the daughter of former minister of defence and foreign affairs - Moshe Dayan - has died aged 84 following her battle with COPD.

EDIT: I was relying on a local report, but it was taken down in the last few minutes and her family has posted a denial.

She is not even gravely ill.

Dayan herself commented she is "absolutely fine". The COPD story is real, but this hoax seemingly came out of nowhere.

Yael Dayan has suffered from COPD for 17 years and it has advanced to the point they've done a tracheotomy on her. She was also in serious condition three years ago.

Edit: Image from last summer

Apparently not the first time the death of someone still alive has been announced in the Knesset - former minister Amnon Rubinstein was announced dead in 2000 when he was in hospital, still alive 23 years later, now 91.

They interviewed her over the phone (or at least tried) and she could barely speak, she sounded much worse than any interview done with her in recent memory.

Genuine question to save myself the trouble of looking it up - why would they do a tracheostomy on a patient with advanced COPD? I would have thought that it was the lungs that were fucked - how would a tracheotomy help that? Ease of administration of oxygen/medication? Would that work better than a simple oxygen mask?

My guess would be that the COPD blockage in her lungs would be so advanced at this stage that the only way she can survive (for the time being at least) is having oxygen supplied to her 24/7. Having the constant supply of oxygen in her throat is easier than a face mask because she doesn't have to strain herself breathing in and out, the oxygen would just flow into her lungs.

You have to remember this is Israel and as seen with Ariel Sharon case, some families will go to absolutely extreme lengths before letting their elders die.
