Always find Geoffrey Dodsworth quite ironic as he stood down to force a by-election due to ill health in 1979 which is something MPs usually only do when they are on their very last legs and 38 years later he's still batting at the age of 89 having outlived most of his contemporaries.

Looks like he's taken a turn for the worse, he was said to be on the road to a full recovery according to Trump a few hours ago.

Hope he pulls through.

Is that DOCTOR Trump making that medical determination?
After hearing that Scalise was hit in the ass, Trump said 'that could be fatal, seeing as Scalise is 100% ass'.

Maybe it was Trump's doctor, who probably said that Scalise is the healthiest shooting victim ever.

Apparently, Scalise's office said that he was in good condition, while the hospital tweeted that he "remains" in critical condition, i.e. was critical before.

So his office is still playing political games by downplaying gun violence.

Trump says Scalise is doing worse than previously thought:

"he's going to be ok, we hope"

Senator Jeff Flake also implied it was worse and Pence didn't look too optimistic after seeing him either.

Here are pictures of Trump after visiting Scalise, I think he knows it's worse then he's letting on-

As much of a liberal as I am, I do hope Steve Scalise makes a full recovery. No one deserves to get shot down like that.

Trump did another press conference and said "We think he'll recover (insert long pause) we hope..."

Very grim.

June 16th.

Going to have to agree with June 16th, it's looking really bad now and you can notice a shift in the media reporting. Trump originally said he would recover but is now tempering expectations by saying 'we hope'. If he miraculously pulls through, he'll never be the same again.

I would have to agree and disagree. He may be wheelchair bound due to the bullet hitting his waist, but he won't be entirely incapacitated like Gabby Giffords.

He is said to be improving in the last 36 hours but still critical.  I personally would give him >50% chance of surviving, but if we are doing sweepstakes I go with June 19.

On another note, Vanuatu president dead

Some taiwanese journalists are apparently also deathpoolers:

Jiang Zemin is apparently in good health, but he gripped the stair railing with only three fingers - blood circulation problems?

Hu Jintao was shaking, could he have Parkinson's? This could also confirm health problems after two rumoured strokes...

Jiang Zemin dispels rumors of death visiting an university library.

It's mostly circulating in local media and social networks as for now. You can use Google Translate on this one for example:
