Hell. I am too lazy to do what Rover did up there. There is a flurry of activity in getting the masterlists set up and verifying the entries and then you sit back and wait for @YoungWillz to tell you when picks have died and then just update the master scoreboard. Sometimes months go by without anything happening.

I confess it was more work than I bargained for. And I still bet there's a mistake in there no one's spotted/cares about. But this is when it helps to know the limitations of your deadpooling activities. Fingers in only so many pies and so on. :D

Ahem...ladies and gentlemen, Doug Insole former Essex captain and - more importantly - England test batsman has died aged 91. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/40844055

Cue further mayhem in the Scavenger Hunt Bingo with hits for myself, Rockhopper and Time.

Yes folks, you read that right - Time's got a hit. Sorry Handy...

Well obviously @time, @rockhopper penguin & @RoverAndOut know there Insoles from their arseholes. Time gets off the mark, leaving just @Handrejka on a duck and RHP gets his third hit (wherever he is). However, Rover is the first person to get to Four hits in one category so Everton Weekes gets added to the list of possible out combinations. This also draws Rover level with @Death Impends and @Toast so John B Anderson becomes a three way tie. Looks like this might be down to a dice roll.

Dick Gregory ran for president in 1968 and got the vote of Hunter S. Thompson, but received no votes here.

Jeremy Hutchinson a hit for me, Rotten Ali, and RoverAndOut: https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/lord-hutchinson-of-lullington-obituary-lfx0kvk05

Not sure if it changes much though.

Rotten Ali gets his third hit in Lords and Rover  & DI both move onto 8 hits in total. No extra ways to win are revealed.  This is taking longer than expected.

Just to let you know I am off to China for a week on Friday. Previously I have struggled to get on this site in China so I might be out of action so you will have to wait till I get back to crown a champion if anything exciting happens whilst I am incommunicado.

With Keith Barron's death, is this over?

Does RA win and therefore the next round is imminent?

We have a winner. Rotten Ali got his three uniques  Keith Barron, David Waddington and Donald Carr.

I now pass the baton on to RA and look forward to taking part. I have thoroughly enjoyed this and would like to thank everyone who played.

Congratulations @Rotten Ali. Inaugural Scavenger Hunt Bingo Deadpool champion.

What! You mean I won this?  Oh, that's nice!  Thanks.  Does this mean I have to run this?  Oh heck.  By the sounds of it you need five new categories?  Or if it's down to me to pick them. Not sure when the next start date should be but if it when I have picked 5 categories then the pressure is on me.  Right now I'm so out of the loop to know who is ill, I won't be having any untoward advantage,  but I guess such as... I'll round up Politics, sport, TV, music and Film.  Don't take this as gospel but the first outline...

1.  Presidents and Prime Ministers of the current 28 European Union countries (past and present).

2.  Boxers who have held any of the world title belts of any 4 organisational bodies WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO.

3.  Any actors who appeared in the TV series Dallas.  Including cast members, co-stars, guest stars, special guest stars "and staring" actors (357 episodes over 14 years.). As per the wiki page "List of Dallas (1978 TV Series) cast members.

4.  How about a very short list? Atheists in music? They do all that signing and don't believe in a god.  Wiki has a list of about 84 names who are still going.

5.  Anyone who has been in a Film with Kevin Bacon.

catch up with you all in a bit...
