I'm not even Irish and we shouted very loudly when they scored last night, to the extent that the cat left the room in a huff. So good on them for winning despite the ref clearly being a greasy dago.

WE WON AGAINST ITALY.

Spuds 1 Pasta 0

You really deserved it despite the referee. Good victory and supremacy

Anyone think that Northern Ireland will win today? After all, they wanted to remain in Europe and Wales did not.

Yeah but Wales have the best player for a Home Nations side since John Barnes, and Northern Ireland have 73-year-old slot jockey Roy Carroll.

Interesting to see whether the neutrals will react to Brexit when England play The People's Republic of Narnia Iceland on Monday night...

Extra chips to go with your steak for mentioning the great JB!

I don't care if they did, I just hope they beat Wales.

Set up by a bloke who works in Spain. How Wales got away with that one I don't know. Poor Norn Iron.

Corry Evans and Shane Ferguson now bite the dust! :( Soooo unlucky.

Dare I mention looking forward to see Kevin de Bruyne and the whole Hungarian squad? At least one fanciable one through from that game at least (I tip Hungary). :)

Fans and team, but on the day the best team lost to a player worth 4 times the entire squad! Hope the boys in green have better luck tomorrow with a bit of payback on France.

I watched some of the Wales v NI match, but was fatally confused by the Welsh goalkeeper's name being Hennessey. facepalm-gesture-smiley-emoticon.gif

Portugal just shaded it.

Quietly impressive was their DM William Carvalho. Just goes about his business amongst the Ronaldo histrionics.

Portugal are well placed now in the "weak" side of the draw. Iceland did them a big favour I reckon.

Why oh why didn't Croatia play the impressive Pjaca from the start? :banghead:

Italy, Spain, Germany, France and England in the same half of the draw. Ouch. On the other side I'll be amazed if it isn't a Belgium-Croatia semi-final. Belgium haven't played well but they don't have much to beat before Croatia (no Wales, just....no...)

Shows what I know. :scratchhead:

Hands up who saw that start coming? England-Ireland QF? Probably not, but at least there's something to defend now...

Ireland v England mwhahahaha.

If that happens and the fans don't sing "Do you need one of these?" and wave their passports at the England fans I'll be sorely disappointed.
