YoungWillz 21,078 Posted August 26, 2017 Yeah, I think I was the first to wonder out loud whatever happened to Peter Skellern on this forum. Then gcreptile pointed out the cancer, and everyone was all over him like a rash...
Joey Russ 7,232 Posted August 26, 2017 Yeah, I also forgot names such as Skellern and Hewlett, which would've made my score higher had I remembered them, so, it's all fun and games in the end.

Hewlett/Skellern/Snuka/Wetton out, Holmlund/Baghdadi/Suisala/Aspin in... wont go down in history as one of the smartest moves in DDP history, really.
gcreptile 10,980 Posted August 26, 2017 I shouldn't have revealed Peter Skellern, but replying to Willz' "Whatever happened to" was irresistible. Then again, most of us would still have known about him, but maybe just a few wouldn't have, so he wouldn't have made the Drop 40. Edit: How is Sacheen Littlefeather doing now?

I doubt I would've revealed Peter Lorimer's cancer on here were it not for there already being some "Peter Lorimer looked awful at the game today, didn't even realize it was him" convo earlier in the year. msc 18,489 Posted August 26, 2017 Then again, some obscurer picks (not unfamous ones) seem to get Daily Mail coverage only after mentioned on here.
Bibliogryphon 9,593 Posted September 14, 2017 J P Donleavy was my sixth hit in Silent. More hits in this now than GI Generation.
gcreptile 10,980 Posted September 20, 2017 Bobby Heenan was hit nr 31/60. I marvel at every single survivor from my G.I. generation bracket.
Joey Russ 7,232 Posted September 20, 2017 I'm personally amazed that I got three more hits in the silent generation than the GI Generation. I think they (silent generation) could legitimately be all dead before the last of my GI Generation...
