Ideas And Possibilities For 2018

Recommended Posts

Hayley Mills.

Over 70 now, and over 10 years since she bumped chemo for breast cancer.

First marriage, Roy Boulting was +33 , current squeeze of 20 years..... -20. 53 year age gap, she gives no fucks.

But age might be catching up.....

She was one of my first "celebrity" crushes.

Likewise, mate.  That's why  heretofore and forthwith it's against all acceptable morays to mention her in this group.

A museum about Italian filmmaker Franco Zeffirelli has been opened in Florence. He was not well enough to attend the ceremony.

I would replace Valerie Harper next year with Beverly Cleary, she turned 100 recently and she will die within the next 5 years.

Didn't one of the committee members say he was never going to make this list?

Wasn't he on it, in the past?

No. You must be thinking of Oscar Niemeyer...

No, I know who I'm thinking about. I swear that he was on the list, a few times, in the past.

I'm hoping for Clive James, Doris Day, and Stephen Hawking to return for next year's list.

Someone to consider for next years: The last king of Greece, Constantine II.

Several issues as strokes, heart problems, intenstinal obstructions, problems to walk...

Here is an article outlining just how bad King Constantine II is.

Bert I Gordon? 95 now, could be a nice two-yard putt at the bottom end of the DL next year.

I'm pretty sure death rowers aren't Deathlist-suitable.

Why not? Can't see anything about that in the rules.

How about Ron Ely? He played Tarzan back in the day.

It kinda does, says in the front page that candidates cant be listed solely on the fact that they are about to die (in the near future) and she is only famous for getting the death penalty.

Well, not entirely, she's famous first and foremost because she's a drug smuggler who got caught in Indonesia, and because she's an old grandmother, and not your typical drug dealer. She'd still be famous if she was in jail on a life sentence, not death row (albeit possibly slightly less famous).

Seems like a bit of a grey area - who has the final say on these matters?

The committee

I can see where your coming from but if she just got a normal sentence it would be 'drug smuggling gran caught' then forgotten about as with the majority of people on the papers for crimes. The only reason she is not quite forgotten about is due to the sentence she received and not her.

Same could he said about the girl that got let off for stabbing her boyfriend because she is too brainy, been getting loads of attention on social media but I'd say she is known of but not in the famous/celebrity bracket.
