As I once fielded an economics Theme Team, I keep an eye on economists. Here are some Nobel Laureates on a picture:

Mary Wilson (PM Harold Wilson's wife) would make a good pick for next year.

I wonder if an American sword swallower with a wikipedia page can get a QO:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Fox_(performer)

He has hepatitis C, liver cirrhosis and "tumours":

If an American sword swallower get's a QO it will be someone like Chasey Lain or Jenna Jameson, not that guy.

That list contains a lot of football players and no Bernard Hepton.

Speaking of Bernard Hepton many happy returns to him :birthday:92 today!

A good name to put in the mix for consideration next year too.

What about Abdelhak Nouri, the 20 year old Dutch football player from Ajax who sustained permanent brain damage in July?

Yeah, and as a fitting tribute before and after she dies we could post in verse

PM's spouse, his trusty foil

Fit to leave this mortal coil

Or summat

Chinese Rapper Dzknow is known as The Chinese Biggie

It's possible he could get caught up in some East vs West China beef and get assasinated like Biggie Smalls did

A pick of my B-Team. His concerts in Berlin in January have been cancelled, so it's not something immediate but generally frail constitution. Which is why I picked him (and hoped for the unique hit). But let's see... His form is definitely in decline, but since his cancer fight he never returned to old strength,.

Does Tom Lehrer meet the criteria for next year's list?

Somewhat related, I found out through a chain of links that Dr. Demento's wife died last month, but I guess at 76, he's not old enough to be fatally affected by that:

Aaand third TMZ-related post from me within 5 minutes: What about "Mafia hitman turned rat" Salvatore "Sammy The Bull" Gravano:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sammy_Gravano

Looking hideous now that he's out of prison. And has a huge target mark on his head.

Esther Jenner,91 has had a few health scares over the last few years and seems like a good bet for 2018. Would easily nail a daily mail obit cause of her Kardashian connection

Russel Brand trotting out to promote his new tour by claiming everyone's on the spectrum regards addiction; normalising his own destructive vices as they get worse and worse? Coming two days after joking about sexual assualt on telly if you read twitter; what he actually joked about was a co-host being unattractive.

I would like to put forward Bill O'Reilly as a potential suicide watch.

 - Control freak, no-longer in control

 - Egocentric, no-longer relevant

 - Career down the gurgler

 - Reputation in tatters

 - Constant subject of jokes and ridicule - a laughing stock now without a platform for rebuttal

 - Marriage failure

 - A series of intellectually noxious literature; whereby the great men die - perhaps he considers himself among them

 - The book precedes , i'll wager, going towards the settlements for the women he's abused - numbering in the tens of millions

 - Former boss also accused of same crimes, dies abruptly at the beginning of the year - made to look like a health cause, wouldn't be surprised if it was in fact suicide.

 - Cancels television appearances - shutting himself away

 - Evidence of potential alcoholism in podcasts and few interviews

 - Angry at god to "giving me a good going over"

 - Attempts to garner sympathy by bringing his children into what he's done - a scoundrel always hides behind their children

 - Looks dejected, tired and has aged ten years - he has always been a miserable c@#t

As someone who suffers from major depression, albeit for very different reasons - it must be said, I see the signs in this man as he went from a tough guy persona to a bad guy persona and sees no way to escape it. He is depressed and for good reason - he should be after what he's done. He is a criminal who can't seem to understand that how, in the world of Trump, his perceived entitlement to his female colleagues was somehow wrong. For these reasons I've added his name to my 2018 shortlist. They are falling like dominoes and we'll all be better for it - that is my great hope in all of this.

I've often said that I wouldn't wish depression on anyone, yet he brought it on himself - he chose it and it couldn't happen to a nicer bloke.

Depressed people commit suicide, not egomaniacs.  SMFH.  I don't know how long it took you to type all that, I refuted it completely in 6 words.  I guarantee I'm more depressed having opened this thread this morning than O'Reilly is.

I'm not yet sold on the O'Reilly suicide watch, because he's still out and about to a limited extent, and has his share of supporters. Plus that book is going to make money, let's be honest.

On the other hand, Harvey Weinstein....also given the apparently 200 women claiming harassment against him, maybe James Toback. Both giant dicks, neither of whom I'd be sad to see go, tbh.
