Just realized that 20 hits no problem can’t get 20 hits because of the nonobit of Satoru Anzaki...

Maybe they should have gone with a Nobel Prize winner in their late 90s instead

Qualifying obit  for Teddy Johnson

If Pearl Carr makes the start line for any major dead pool from here...surely she'll see a revival the likes of which she'd never believe possible

Update. Yes I realise the sidebar has moved, I'll fix it later.

Can I just add, well done, lot of work there.

Really impressive how diverse the hits are. Also really well-done write-ups.

I have Pearl on one of my other dead pool lists.

Not sure why Hardegen was listed as Lost.  His obit was published 90 seconds after he died.  Or thereabouts.  Anyway, came here to post just in case.

Didn't know Mail had their own equivalent of Guardian's Other Lives! Glad at least one unique gamble paid off.

Yes, it’s very good to see one of your gambles go through. Kudos for that. I was very disappointed when Cynthia Heimel didn’t get a QO...

Well, I saw this headline a while ago and must have thought it related to someone else who also copped it. Nice spot.

Yeah, and I'm also more and more convinced that the majority of picks for Joe Jackson (ugly new wave pianist) were actually for Joe Jackson (handy-with-a-belt father of a paedo).

Looking at the teams, I’d be surprised if any of them meant to pick the new wave pianist truthfully...

If that Vervoort update means anything it probably means the race has shifted largely into the hands of those who didn't pick her (Pan Breed, Pity Da Foolz, etc) and those who didn't joker her (Droller Coaster, To Kill A Gabor Sister, etc). So that probably mean I'm out of the running along with many others who looked like contenders in the beginning, but a top ten spot is still very plausible (and it's only my second year in this anyways, so I still have a lot time to improve my craft)...
