Also if I read the rules correctly should I submit a list presently I lose ‘future’ points with my May list, but not my 2-point hit, I still get that.  Correct?

That’s right, yeah. And if you do hang on to your list, it’s double points if you get a hit on the last day of the month.

I note that a late obit for Jerry Maren came in early June.  His date of death is listed as May 24, a month in which our leader, Sean, had him at the 4 pt slot.  I was about to award him retroactive points, but further investigation uncovered a violation of the consecutive months rule, as he had Jerry Maren in his 5 pt slot for April.  So Sean stays put at 18 pts.  Nice try, Sean!
