Jhoon Rhee, a 10th-degree black belt known as "the father of American Taekwondo," died Monday, his son announced on Facebook. So first let’s take care of that goddamn injustice. Anyway, as we scoot through the 8-year time machine to present day, his son has died. Joe Clokey, a producer and the caretaker of the Gumby empire that began in the early 1950s with the creation of the pliable clay figure by his father, the late Art Clokey, has died. He was 56.
