Aye, my point being that it doesn't make it a Brit female film editor then.

Coates was the last of the pre-New Hollywood female film editors of note I think. There's not that many who'd QO over the age of 70 still around: Thelma Schoonmaker is still working regularly.... possibly Marcia Lucas? She's only given one interview since divorcing George. Although this appears to be a photo (from her daughter's Instagram account) in May this year, doesn't look like someone in a care home.

There's no date of death on IMDB for this chapess: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm3134958/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cr60

She'd be 108.

No way in hell that she's still alive. She'd be the world's 2nd oldest person known for reasons other than longevity. At least one of the gerontologists would know about her if she were living, they're pedants and they investigate everything.

Well, get them to look into her, and if she's dead we can update IMDB. :D

Schoonmaker as Spade says is still working, so I'll go with the LA based Johanna Demtetrakas.

Into her 80's now I think.

TMZ goes big on the Abby Lee Miller "cancer" talk, but looks like it's just Burkitt's lymphoma, so don't rush to your longlists just yet. Still, don't think ol' ALM will be making her 70th birthday.

Undergoes an emergency surgery. Hm...

Not sure what ‘already’ means here.  Did he get to 88 faster than most others get to 88?

He was always more sensible than the other cundits on Faux news. Obviously a little too conservative for me but he's certainly better than the new age of commentators like Tomi Lahren, Ben Shapiro, and Candice Owens.

One of the last of his kind really, most cable news people currently are nothing but trolls and carnival barker's.Didn't agree with most of his politics but the guy was sincere and consistent in his beliefs and never engaged in tribalistic partisanship or juvenile behaivor.

Brian Barnes turned 73 a week ago.

Famously marked his ball with a beer can on occasion, yet still beat Nicklaus twice in a day.

I don't think he'll see 75, just a saying.

* he might outlive Gallagher tho.

Former NDP of Canada MP Paul Dewar diagnosed with brain cancer. Ran for leader of NDP in 2015 but lost. Probably on the same level of fame as say, Arnold Chan. Hey, maybe someone will put him on a long list in case there's a North American/Canadian DP :D

Grade 4 glioblastoma:

I think Joyce Randolph (Trixie from 'The Honeymooners') is a good one to look out for next year as well.
