I remember going to see that film at the old ABC cinema in Leicester. Which was so long ago the building that replaced it is now probably going to be demolished. For a kick off that's a pretty rubbish nerve agent or since that seems a bit unlikely (a rubbish nerve agent would be just an insecticide ;)) a completely inept application of it leading to a submicroscopic amount actually reaching its intended target. From all I have read people do not simply recover from nerve agent poisoning even in microscopic doses without very early intervention with a counter agent such as atropine as delivered in the US military Auto-injector. There is no evidence, or at least none published that this occurred, and anyway why would it? They were not soldiers in a war-zone. If the Russian state (presumably via its FSB agency) solely wanted him, or indeed both of them dead. one might have imagined they would have the resources to do it in a far less obtrusive manner. She looks very healthy, based on appearance alone it seems like she won't be of interest to us for a long time. However, for some reason she wants to go back to Russia. There's always a chance she'll last 3 days there before dying after "a long battle with cancer". Or maybe they'll employ the classic "suicide from 2 gunshot wounds to the back of the head" tactic, haven't used that one in a while.
