I recall seeing a scene where Harry is talking to snake and it seems to be from that film, it might have been that the film was on in the background or it could have been an advert for it . Harry talks directly to snakes in Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets. He dreams of talking to snakes in the first person in other movies, principally Goblet of Fire. (Maybe I'm too interested in this franchise!)

According to this, Dewey Martin died back in March: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/188553753/dallas-dewey-martin OOOhh. You really have an inside scoop. According to IMDB and Wikipedia, he is still kicking. I guess I may have missed a landmine after all. Thanks for the shoutout.
Wormfarmer 426 Posted August 23, 2018 I consider myself a movie buff, but I have only seen 16 (17 if Wolf is added as a late entry). Nary even half! Fun pool!
theoldlady 2,280 Posted August 23, 2018 I have seen 17 of these films that I remember. Even saw The Wicker Man at the cinema in 1979. Britt Ekland is a big name here. 1
Bibliogryphon 9,509 Posted August 23, 2018 The ones I have seen are Dalek Invasion of Earth (bet you didn't guess that one) A Night To Remember, Time Bandits, Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Great Escape, The Wizard of Oz & Carry On Henry. The two I think I should watch are The Seventh Seal and The Wicker Man.

Godfather actually turns out quite well once that hack Brando leaves the screen. Frenzy, Hitchcock made 30 or 40 better films. Wicker Man is great fun, though it's hard to sympathise with Ed Woodward imo. So he's on that island for... weeks by feel of it. Several days at least. And the one thing he needs to do to save his life is shag 20 something Britt Ekland when she offers it to him. And he refuses. That's like those 1950s film that have the plot "Grace Kelly wants to sleep with the main protagonist and this is a problem for them".

charon 4,943 Posted August 25, 2018 In the fucking hole !!!! msc, that was the point, a wee free copper widn't sleep with Ekland. I toyed with her stunt arse double who I think would have counted, and is more likely to peg, but in the Spirit of the Game didn't. 2

Not sure Britt is going to oblige you but a lead is a lead.
charon 4,943 Posted August 25, 2018 Britt not a liability, as this round will last 2-3 years imo.

charon 4,943 Posted September 7, 2018 Spade missed a trick with Christopher Lawford. He was in The Doors.
Spade_Cooley 9,474 Posted September 7, 2018 I did basically look for a random Will Jordan film, found one that also had Val Kilmer in then rushed through the castlist to find anyone else who has ever had health troubles that was in it. Realistically this pool will be one by someone picking three silvertops rather than three dying heads.
charon 4,943 Posted September 7, 2018 Dunno Spade. Lawford was a decades long horse junky, supposedly clean for a while. They don't see old age as a rule. For my own part, I thought Kemp wid be the last to go. Roper - prostate removed eons ago after cancer diagnosis. Eklund - 2/3 years off when her mum pegged through doo lallyness, and a shit end it was too. Sure she said she wouldn't go through it, so potential self topper. As this pool will run for a while, whose to say old timer or Ill cunt, they could be the same.

Clorox Bleachman 2,390 Posted November 24, 2018 George A. Cooper was one of Toast's 3, meaning 3 teams are now on the leaderboard. One slight issue... Neither Cooper nor Will Jordan have DDP-equivalent obits thus far. Could @Bibliogryphon tell us if their deaths are still hits?
