YoungWillz 21,239 Posted April 4, 2020 Actually, it appears that Jack The Groove was probably the second house music chart hit, following hot on the heels of the Darryl Pandy/Farley Jackmaster Funk hit Love Can't Turn Around. The latter I thought more of a dance record at the time, however it seems it is classed as house. Anyhow, I wasn't part of the acid trippin' rave scene at the time, just a chart watcher. Sir Creep 7,071 Posted April 4, 2020 Emmitt Peters Sr., an Alaska Native who won the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race as a rookie in 1975, has died at age 79 in his home village of Ruby. Peters, an Athabascan, was nicknamed the “Yukon Fox” after his victory in the 1975 race, only the third contest in the 1,000-mile (1,609.3-kilometer) Iditarod. Note: The story link comes from the source you would expect to report on the Iditarod: The Miami Herald. SC
