38 Russian MP's in hospital with Covid.

The place is somewhere between a dictatorship and overall KGB control, why do they need so many people to make laws?

Relatively young and seems like a shocking case but the face pictures alone are misleading. Big, big girl.

Have I mentioned that there's a trend with this virus? :sherlock:

Forgot to post this when it was on ITV News last week, but screenwriter Ray Connolly spent almost 6 months in hospital with Covid before being released a few weeks ago. For an 80-year-old who had come close to death he looked well. The laundry list of complications he suffered will no doubt blight him in the future though.

Student Connor Reed, first Briton to catch the virus, "found dead" in his apartment:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8902745/First-Briton-catch-Covid-dies.html

They make it sound as if Covid, and being locked down in China, caused his suicide. But then we cannot know the truth.

There's going to be a lot of long COVID theme teams in 2021, huh?

They can be as long as they want as long as they stick to 20 names!

I'm not sure. Other than Derek Draper do we know any notable names currently battling it who would receive a QO?

Come on you'll have to do your own homework for a DDP team - you can't expect someone to come on here and just give you twenty names! :D

57 year old journalist  Martin Bashir,  most famous for his 1995 Panorama interview with Princess Diana, is seriously  unwell with covid related complications.

Was watching BBC News earlier. They were covering the Diana interview and the fact that the BBC has now launched a new investigation into the dirty tactics used by Bashir to secure the interview.

Anyway, they noted at the end of the newspiece that Bashir was still seriously ill in hospital with COVID.

That's 2 weeks now. Not looking good. :pop:

Want some better names? Algerian president Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Italian cardinal and president of CEI Gualtiero Bassetti, who are both critically ill with COVID.

On the other hand, the other Bou of Algeria who was on the other side of the protests is still alive even though it's been claimed multiple times that he's in some kind of a "vegetative state"

Long Covid Theme Team?

How about BBC Scotland correspondent Lucy Adams, "ill since march":

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-54793726

Hmmm. Symptoms are more or less chronic fatigue syndrome. Difficult to live with but it shouldn't kill you.

It could, of course, drive some to suicide, but with a partner, a good career and a young daughter, I would be surprised.
